Rather modest but complex, combining chocolate, liquorice, sweet coffee and dried fruits with rich malt.
Palate
Oily-smooth and mostly sweet. Dark, bitter chocolate
features, as does tangy dried fruit, a mild warmth and a vinous note. There's also a good lightness of body
from the long lagering process.
Finish
Bitter, tangy, dry and hoppy, with more dark chocolate, leaving behind a gentle glow.
Comment
One of the last surviving Baltic porters, brewed in the south of Poland. A chunky but smooth beer.

Nose
Mixed berries including blackcurrants. Creamy malts and toasted grain give subtle smoky roast malt notes.
Palate
Rounded and creamy with a malty texture and rich dark fruit. Builds into velvety soft roast malts.
Finish
Warming alcohols and controlled fruity notes round off a wholesome malty finish.
Comment
Rounded and flavoursome with good drinkability
and a moderate but balanced richness. Overall makes a good dessert beer with good depth of flavour.
