Nose: Honeyed and floral, with good malt support.
Palate: Perfumed, floral honey flavours lead the way but this is well balanced with tangy hop to avoid sweetness and cloying. There's a silkiness to the texture and a little tingle of warmth, with grapefruit coming through on the swallow.
Finish: Bitter and dry, with tangy hop and floral notes.
Comment: A full-flavoured and thankfully not-too-sweet, dark golden ale, produced in Oxfordshire with Fair trade honey and sugar.
