Nose
Tart lemons and delicate pale malt, with floral notes emerging over time.
Palate
Tart lemon again to the fore, along with earthy, resin-like hops, all backed by soft pale malt.
Finish
Dry and a little chalky until powerful hop flavours take over, along with a little toasted malt. Any sweetness from the taste rapidly fades.
Comment
A robust, full-flavoured but very dry bitter featuring Target hops from the National Trust's Scotney Castle farm in Kent.
