Nose
Lemony and citrus-sharp from the hops; also a touch grainy.
Palate
Crisp, hoppy and herbal, with a keen bitterness. Silky smooth malt in support, plus a touch of alcohol.
Finish
Very dry, quite thick and hoppy. A surprisingly bitter finish.
Comment
A dry and bitter Japanese beer, with plenty of hop character. Brewed under licence by Wells & Young's. Not a bad option with Asian cuisine, or even on its own.
