Nose
Ripe, biscuity barley flavours. Lightly nutty with a floral, grapefruit-like hop note.
Palate
Biscuity malt and floral, tangy hop. There's some sweetness at first but a crisp, bitterness takes over.
Finish
Firmly bitter, dry and biscuity with a touch of toasted grain and a hint of orange.
Comment
An enjoyable, bright-amber coloured ale that was also bottled recently under the name of DW60, to mark the 60th anniversary of the Devizes to Westminster canoe race.
