Crisp, bittersweet and much, much lighter than the strength would suggest. It's surprisingly delicate, which leaves it exposed to a touch of oxidation, but otherwise it is lemony and perfumed.
Finish
Pale malt lingers but herbal hops eventually make a stand as the finish turns dry and bittersweet.
Comment
A rather scruffy bottle with a ragged bit of red foil around the neck suggesting cheapness. But, really, it's not that bad at all.

Nose
Adjunct noticeable on the nose – corn and other cereal. Also an odd note savoury note that puts me in mind of pie crust.
Palate
Surprisingly light, a little sweetness, a little bitterness. Surprisingly devoid of flavour, to be honest.
Finish
Light and relatively clean. Too clean, in fact – it doesn't really taste of anything
Comment
There's nothing wrong with this at all, although there isn't anything that would really recommend it either. Surprisingly easy to drink for the strength.
