Full and pleasant, malty and fruity, with barley sugar notes, red apples and a pronounced floral/honeyed accent.
Palate
Sweet, light and crisp, with more juicy red apple flavour and delicate malt in the background.
Finish
Dry and sweetish, but rather subdued. Apple and soft malt linger.
Comment
Dark amber in colour and unusually sweet for a beer that bears the name IPA. An interesting but quite thin
beer from a long-established New Zealand brewery.
