Tart, tangy oaky dominates, with zesty oranges behind.
Palate
There's a clear, oaky presence right from the off that dries the palate and initially overshadows zesty orange flavours. Generally sweet, but with some bitterness
stemming from the oak.
Finish
Gently tingling, dry, oaky and rather thick. Sweetness lingers awhile, bitterness increases.
Comment
An orange-amber ale with good body, a good airy texture and plenty of taste, even if the oak tends to outpoint rather than complement other flavours.
