Rich and smooth, with mellow, creamy oak and a fortified wine character.
Palate
Good, light mouthfeel overlaid with creamy, winey, dried fruit notes, some bursts of bitter orange and an oaky dryness. On the sweet side, with alcohol vapours
making it gently warming.
Finish
Dry, thick, oaky and bitter, with a tangy accent.
Comment
The first of three limited collection beers, this orange-amber beer offers a great mix of flavours, with oak playing its part but not totally dominant.
