Malty at first, soon giving way to light tropical fruits and then plenty of grapefruit.
Also malty, and a little toffeeish, initially. Bitter hops then bring a juicy, citrus sharpness. Nicely balanced and tasty.
Dry, very hoppy and bitter.
A very successful golden IPA that has turned many heads since it arrived on the scene last year. The beer is available in both filtered and bottle-conditioned versions. The above notes are based on the filtered. The bottle-conditioned may prove more complex and less malty, thanks to even more of a fresh hop dominance.
