Medicinal cloves, creamy vanilla and a hint of banana.
Palate
Crisp, with lively carbonation. Creamy vanilla provides the foundation with sweet cereals, mild clove bitterness and suggestions of lemon and banana.
Finish
Dry, mellow and vanilla creamy. Clove bitterness is soft and warming and there are some gentle coriander citrus and banana notes.
Comment
A well-balanced attempt to re-create weizenbier flavours through the addition of spices rather than using a wheat beer yeast. It's not very demanding or full flavoured but it's pleasant enough.

Nose
Not too much clove. Crushed seeds of coriander as opposed to fragrant leaves. More vanilla fudge
than anything else. Honeyish. More cloves if left to open.
Palate
Citrussy. Much more coriander seeds
Finish
Vanilla immediately. Then disappears into bitterness of coriander seeds. A bit minty, unless I'm going mad.

Each element comes to the fore in a different part. Lots going on here.
