Nose
Sweet cereals and mild hops. There's a herbal note, but it's rather subdued.
Palate
Crisp and nicely bitter, with a light lime-like fruitiness and some tart hop notes. The texture is smooth but the body is slender.
Finish
Dry, hoppy and bitter. Lingers quite a while.
Comment
The pride of Japan, brewed under licence by Shepherd Neame. The taste is clean, but underwhelming, although the finish is reasonably bold. There's nothing here to dislike.
