Nose
Very fruity at first, with sherbety, juicy citrus fruits. Barley sugar notes, plus a hint of liquorice in the gentle hop accent.
Palate
Crisp and nicely bitter, with a worty barley sugar taste, a good hoppy edge and some light citrus fruit.
Finish
Dry, bitter, hoppy and a little biscuity.
Comment
This well-established organic ale seems a bit fruitier than when last tasted for this magazine.
