Nose
Perfumed and spicy, with lemon and soft ginger notes.
Palate
Crisp, with gentle, tea-like hops, lemon and a light gingery burn.
Finish
Mildly bitter with more tealike hops, and the thumbprint, delicate ginger warmth. Drying and fairly thick.
Comment
A well-balanced and rather subtle ginger beer, with the spice most evident in the glow it leaves in the finish. Smooth and quaffable.

Nose
Ginger is there, but nicely faint. Almost like a bowl of pineapple sprinkled with black pepper, overlayed with that syrupy aroma common in Belgian ales.
Palate
Sweet and woody. Like chewing a fresh piece of raw cane sugar for a while after all the sugary juice has gone.
Finish
Gentle and balanced, with a little sweetness in the middle of your tongue.
Comment
Surprising. The nose packs a wallop then smoothes out after a sip. Not overly gingery, which is good.
