Nose
Delightful mix of fruit and baker's spices. Banana, pear and marzipan, with a little pink bubblegum and sourness.
Palate
Fruit and spices are rather underplayed. Some lemon and green apple provide a faint, refreshing sourness to temper the mild sweetness.
Finish
Chewy and bready. Dry, with clove bitterness emerging.
Comment
A murky brown beer that, unless presented in the proper glassware, lacks visual appeal. The underplay of the main features makes it dangerously quaffable and moreish.
