Nose
Heady aroma of marzipan, bananas and lemon. Slightly vinous, bready and spicy.
Palate
Amazingly complex. Sweet marzipan, bananas and tart raisins. Exotic spices and alcoholic warmth.
Finish
Surprisingly subtle. Sweetish marzipan and spice with tart fruit notes.
Comment
Flavour-packed and a revelation for anyone who thinks all beers taste much the same. Possibly just too complex for some palates, but perfect for sipping with a piece of fruit cake.
