Lots of butterscotch, largely hiding sour herbal notes.
Palate
A sweet and sour taste of tart herbs and a little squeeze of lemon, but with yet more butterscotch laid on top and a drying backnote.
Finish
Thick and sweet after a smooth swallow. Hops build a little more than in the taste.
Comment
A straw-coloured, canned lager, ‘the official beer of the BC Lions', a American football team in Vancouver. Unfortunately, it's all a bit clumsy and dominated
by butterscotch (diacetyl) from the fermentation.

Nose
Distinctly unlagery. A sweetshop mix of butterscotch and sugary fruity things like pear drops.
Palate
More butterscotchy, sweet fruit flavours.
Finish
Sort of fades away with the merest hint of a hop.
Comment
My sample lacked carbonation which means it scored
low. A tad unfair perhaps, at a BC Lions game it's probably unbeatable.
