Nutty malt. A suggestion of whisky. Bitter oranges.
Palate
Fairly crisp and light drinking for its strength, with plenty of sweet fruitiness and sharp citrus notes. Whiskyish upfront and warming as the alcohol makes its presence felt. Pleasant malty foundation.
Finish
Slow to build, but eventually hoppy and dry, with bitter citrus fruit character.
Comment
A bronze-coloured ale with plenty of good, fresh flavours, in keeping with the style of this Oregon brewery.
