There's an instant hit of ginger, giving a distinct ginger snap biscuit flavour and warmth. The real Old Tom, with its soft maltiness and complex fruit notes, is well hidden in the background.

Warming, gingery, bitter and dry, with subtle dark malt.

Old Tom blended with Fentiman's Ginger Beer, producing an interesting drink with quite a kick. I suspect, however, that most of us would prefer the original Old Tom on its own.
