Deep, comforting malt, reminiscent of digestive biscuits, topped by floral hops.
Palate
More nutty, biscuity malt to the fore, but this is a bitter beer with sweetness only light and emerging most of all on the swallow. Light dried fruit and citrus notes are also in the mix.
Finish
Dry, malty, biscuity, hoppy and bitter.
Comment
An old-fashioned, orange-amber beer brewed to celebrate 30 years of brewing at Ringwood. It's not nearly as fruity as most of Ringwood's beers, and it's not bottle conditioned either, which takes away
some of the complexity.
