Nose
Ginger-spicy and perfumed, with tart orange and lemon notes and even a hint of banana. Peppery with a little clove spice, too.
Palate
Mellow, bittersweet and fairly crisp. More lightly tart lemon and other citrus fruits; pepper and gentle clove spiciness.
Finish
Dry but quite thin, becoming a little chewy and increasingly bitter. Tart fruit and spices just hang on in there.
Comment
A pleasant and quaffable, English version of a witbier.
