Nose
Creamy toffee. Lightly spicy with faint citrus fruit.
Palate
Smooth and malty, with a toffee accent but also a tart acidity, light citrus fruit and a dry bitterness that change the character considerably.
Finish
Notably bitter and dry.
Comment
Not a gueuze as such but a blend of Girardin brewery's lambic and a tripel. It's certainly novel but I'm not sure how successful it is, especially as the finish is rather harsh.
