Very complex: biscuity and malty; vinously fruity with dark chocolate notes.
Palate
Rummy, sweet and as complex as the nose. Lots of dark, smoky malts. Hops add a splash of orange-citrus to blend with dried fruit notes.
Finish
Bitter citrus fruit is the surprise in the finish, joining raisins and lots of hop over a rich, chocolatey maltiness.
Comment
Brave and bold, calls for an experienced beer palate. Brettanomyces yeast is added – the yeast that makes lambic beers musty and earthy – and will surely work its
magic with time in the bottle.
