There's plenty of malt here but it's quite light-bodied nevertheless, thanks in part to a foamy carbonation. The taste falls on the bitter side of bittersweet, with faint
pineapple and lots of grassy, sappy hops.
Dry, malty and roasted, with bitterness soon taking over. Hops aplenty.
A strikingly tasty yet light textured, amber-red beer brewed on and for the Chatsworth Estate. The label carries a story of how the Chatsworth gardeners used
to secretly tap into a pipe carrying beer from the estate's old brewery.
