Full and estery with traces of pineapple, pear drop and bubblegum over soft, buttery malt.
Palate
Full-bodied and loaded with esters. Pear drop and pineapple lead the way in a sugary sweet taste that thankfully has a redeeming, light bitter edge.
Finish
Quite thick and drying, with hints of pineapple and mango. Bitterness builds.
Comment
The strength is a bit too obvious, making it less subtle and seductive than other tripels but this rich, golden, Belgian beer certainly doesn't stint on flavour or power.
