Nose: Initial strong burst of hops, with an aniseed-like spiciness. Firm malt behind. Tart pineapple and tangerine fruitiness.
Palate: Malty smooth and laced with tart orange and other citrus fruits. Piney hop notes. Notable acidity.
Finish: Rapidly drying. Bitter and hoppy, with a woody essence and a suggestion of sourness.
Comment: A bit of a wild child. A bone dry amber beer partially fermented with a yeast that creates an acidic sourness. Totally refreshing and complex.
