Nose
Surprisingly malty and toffeeish for a bright golden beer, with a tart citrus edge and a ground coriander – or nutmeglike spiciness.
Palate
Silky, malty mouthfeel, layered with honey, hints of toffee and lots of hops. Bitter overall, with a sharpish citrus note.
Finish
Dry and malty yet bitter, with hops fighting through.
Comment
A pleasant, full-flavoured session ale with an informative back label.
