Nose
Juicy citrus fruit over dark malt.
Palate
The same juicy fruit character with plenty of bitter dark malt and barley behind. Pleasantly bitter and clean.
Finish
Dry and bitter, with lots of roasted barley character.
Comment
A fine, dry and bitter, ruby-brown stout with a fruitiness that is not quite what you'd expect from a beer laced with port.
