Nose
Hop fruitiness leads the way, with hints of grapefruit, orange marmalade and gooseberry.
Palate
Strident, sappy hops load the palate with green, grassy flavours as well as a spritzy grapefruit sharpness. Fairly dry with high, mouth-filling carbonation.
Finish
Notably dry, robustly hoppy, sappy and bitter.
Comment
With its hedgerow-grassy character, this golden ale seems to offer more of a taste of the countryside than of the capital city, but it's an interesting, full flavoured beer with lots of character.
