Nose
Crumbly chocolate digestive biscuits at first, with some soft liquorice in the background. A creamy vanilla note emerges.
Palate
Pick out the nutty centres in a box of luxury plain chocolates and you'll find flavours reflected in this porter. Look for rich vanilla and a touch of spicy warmth, too.
Finish
Bitter, nutty roasted malt provides a dry, dark chocolate finish.
Comment
Like Young's more famous Double Chocolate Stout, this porter includes a little chocolate to enhance the dark malt flavours. A real treat with a chocolate brownie.
