Nose
Musty, tart and cidery, with traces of melon.
Palate
Mouth-puckeringly sour and acidic at first, with musty, cidery flavours pushing through along with a little sweetness and a subtle hints of raspberry.
Finish
Dry, acidic and tingly. Softly bitter.
Comment
A refreshing and sufficiently testing gueuze, a step above the overly commercial examples but not as demanding as others.
