Nose
Creamy pale malt, sweet and tart tropical fruit and more than a hint of liquorice. Alcoholic.
Palate
Sweet and warming but quite crisp, with perfumed alcohol notes and tropical fruits.
Finish
Throat burning and palate numbing, sweet but drying, with bitterness slowly creeping in and tropical fruit lingering.
Comment
A strong-tasting, golden beer that has plenty of punch but doesn't really deliver in character. The palate dries rather quickly, preventing a true roundness of flavour.

Nose
Fruity. Not unlike Syrup of Figs. A pleasant touch of rubber, or new print.
Palate
Full with a pineappley, citrussy zing. Refreshing.
Finish
Bitter. Alcohol warming your throat on the way down.
Comment
High alcohol makes this seem a bit medicinal.
