Nose: Malty and smoky, with burnt grain at first, becoming chocolatey and nutty with developing caramel notes.
Palate: Sweetish and gently chocolatey, with bitter, nutty, roasted grain in the background, soft caramel and a little raisin.
Finish: Dry and coffeeish, with bitterness slowly picking up strength.
Comment: A tasty but very light-bodied beer, in line with its modest strength.
