Nose
Mildly grainy and nutty, offset by herbal and spicy notes from the hops.
Palate
Nutty, grainy and slightly warming to start, becoming generally bitter with a dry, assertive hoppiness.
Finish
Raspingly dry and bitter with hops lingering and lingering.
Comment
It's a bit of a one-trick pony, with that resoundingly dry, hoppy finish the key to its success, but this is always a worthwhile option among German pilsners.
