Nose
Fresh and bready with the distinctive aroma of apple pie, with spicy coriander.
Palate
Apple pie flavours rise to the top but are not overpowering. There's a mild bitterness from the cloves and gently spicy, orange-citrus flavours from the coriander.
Finish
Dry, chewy and softly bitter with light lingering fruit.
Comment
A new take on the Belgian wit bier style with apples added for a twist. Refreshing and quaffable but a little tarnished by oxidation wet paper notes. A beer to sup with roast pork?
