- Nose
- Honeyed, oaky and spicy with a light whisky note. Complex and inviting.
- Palate
- Creamy, spicy and smooth with vanilla and a touch of citrus. Sweet but not cloying, thanks to a dry, oaky backdrop.
- Finish
- Creamy vanilla notes continue into the dry, oaky,
bittersweet finish that is rather thick and gently warming.
- Comment
- This is the beer that set the Innis & Gunn ball rolling and at the same time rekindled an interest
in wood-aged beers. Clean,
interesting, mellow and tasty.
