Nose
Surprisingly fruity and spicy, with blackcurrants and grapefruit.
Palate
Bitter and fruity, featuring lots of floral hop flavours. Dark malts are pushed well into the background.
Finish
Dry, notably bitter with roasted grain.
Comment
An unusual take on the dark mild style. Somewhat heavily hopped and bitter, with unexpected floral notes. Our second beer this month from a prolific Norfolk brewer.
