Nose: Wonderfully fragrant and fruity, featuring grapefruit, tangerine and peach.
Palate: Again, floral and fruity but crisply bitter, too. With its wholesome malty body, it's more robust than the aroma suggests it's going to be, featuring an oily hoppiness and the spicy, bitter citrus notes of grapefruit and orange.
Finish: Dry, hoppy and bitter with lots of lingering grapefruit.
Comment: Full flavoured, crisp, dry and nicely refreshing. One of a number of quality golden ales from this revered Oxfordshire family brewery.
