Hoggley's Mill Lane Mild

Nose: Malty and biscuity, with dark chocolate.
Palate: Full-bodied and creamy, biscuity and fairly sweet. Dark chocolate flavours dominate, complemented by a little alcoholic warmth. The high natural carbonation creates a mousse-like texture in the mouth.
Finish: Dry and gently bitter, with more chocolate.
Comment: A very drinkable and satisfying dark mild with clean flavours and excellent body for its strength. A product of a Northamptonshire micro that is turning out some fine bottle-conditioned beers.
