Sweet malt, a touch of caramel and more than a suggestion of liquorice.
Palate
Sweet and malty, but with a tannin-like dryness reminiscent of tea and another touch of liquorice. Sadly, not very fresh tasting.
Finish
Sweetness lingers for a while but the finish is generally dry, bitter and malty, with more liquorice.
