Nose: Mellow dark malts, with traces of caramel and chocolate. A little fruit: perhaps a hint of blackcurrant?
Palate: Velvety smooth, oaty-creamy, bittersweet and well balanced, combining dark grains with lightly tangy, fruity hops.
Finish: Dry, creamy and bitter as roasted grain takes over, leaving a long finish with a pinch of chocolate.
Comment: A smooth, tasty, easy-drinking, bottle-conditioned stout.
