Overbearingly sweet and sugary, with a dry hoppy tartness at the back of the mouth failing to provide enough balance. Hints of lime-citrus.
Finish
Again sweet, but better balanced as hops and bitterness charge through to provide dryness.
Comment
The letters stand for Gluten Free Lager. This very pale brew has been created with coeliac disease sufferers in mind. It certainly fulfils a useful role, but it's an acquired taste. Obviously the sugars used don't ferment out as well as malted barley and wheat in normal beers, hence the sweetness.
