Nose
Grainy and bready, with subtle spices and banana, elder flower and bubblegum aromas. Strangely more like a weissbier's aroma than a witbier's.
Palate
Tart lemon and other fruit weave around the mouth freshening up sweetish, grainy, bready malt and other cereals.
Finish
Fairly chewy, dry and gently bitter.
Comment
Named after the overdramatic Netherlands word for a hamster (literally ‘corn wolf'), this Dutch beer combines four different cereals in its mass and is laced with elder flowers as well as coriander and orange peel.
