Goose Island Beer Co Indian Pale Ale

Nose: Bursting with zingy citrus hop resins but grounded in firm, smooth malt. Full, fragrant and exceptionally inviting.
Palate: Pungent citrus fruits – lemon, grapefruit, orange and more. Earthy hop resins in abundance; tea and spice notes. Robust yet multi-layered and sweet.
Finish: Malty at first, nutty and lightly toffeeish, then the hops show their powerful winning hand. Drying and bitter.
Comment: A world classic. Scored down a touch this time – perhaps the company it's keeping in this round of tasting is more challenging. Still outstanding, nonetheless.
