Nose: Like rummaging in a sack of hop leaves – fresh, resinous and fruity. Some biscuity malt as a backdrop.
Palate: Rich, earthy hop resins immediately to the fore, with a tart fruitiness developing. Very nicely balanced by malty sweetness.
Finish: Takes time to build but soon filled with tangy, almost nutty hops and biscuity grain.
Comment: A clean, ultra-fresh-tasting amber ale, loaded with flavour.
