Nose
Appetisingly zesty, orange-citrus aromas, with barley-sugar maltiness breaking through.
Palate
A bittersweet blend of sweet barley-sugared malt, citrus zest and light floral notes.
Finish
Mellow on the swallow. Bitterness and hops gradually take over but malty sweetness lingers along with a pithy citrus note. Nicely moreish.
Comment
A delicate but tasty beer designed to draw lager drinkers into the ale fold, using American Liberty hops for a citrus character and Czech Saaz for soft bitterness.
