Delicate citrus hop has the advantage initially until nutty malt emerges. Raisin notes develop.
Palate
Hoppy and nutty-malty. Complex, but not dominant, fruit flavours throughout (pear, cherry, pineapple, raisin). Powerful hop resins dry the palate. Fairly bitter.
Finish
Dry and hoppy with a light toffeeish maltiness.
Comment
A full-flavoured, robust beer with the distinctive Fuller's hop thumbprint. Probably good with roast beef.
