Nose

Smooth barley with a spicy hop balance. Faint suggestions of strawberry and peach come through as the beer warms.

Palate

There's a notably dry edge to the palate, countering the initial, sweet ripe malt. Assertive hops kick in to turn things bitter and crisp, with a light orange fruitiness floating in the background.

Finish

Very dry with a long, leafy hop note.

Comment

A very clean and quaffable, copper-coloured beer with quality malt and hop characteristics.

Really nice, classic British ale. Layered flavours work well all together.
