Nose
Malty and floral with tart fruit, earthy, seedy notes and some soft honey.
Palate
Tart and sharp, bittersweet and floral, with some light toffee. Drying earthy/seed notes.
Finish
Dry and bittersweet, slowly turning bitter, with some lasting toffee and honey.
Comment
The label describes this peach coloured brew from Florida as being a ‘malt beverage brewed with honey and rose hips'. I'm not sure quite what it's hoping to achieve, but it didn't do anything for me. A bit odd, really.
