Nose
Sweet malt, milky chocolate and raisins.
Palate
Bittersweet, creamy maltiness fills the taste, with some dark chocolate and raisins, plus a touch of caramel.
Finish
Pleasantly bitter and dry, with a smoky, burnt grain character. A little bit chalky in texture.
Comment
A clean, tasty beer that doesn't disappoint, even if it is rather bitter in the finish for a mild.

Earthy, with a slightlyroasted sweetness.
Palate
A little fizzy but dry and hoppy with notes of bitter chocolate.
Finish
Slightly astringent in the finish which paves the way for a nice, burnt aftertaste.
Comment
A good, firm, dry dark mild that could shine with bottle conditioning.
